Connecting with your baby in the womb 🌀 Whilst pregnant and meditating on my chakras - visualising my sacral chakra glowing all lovely and orange - it occurred to me that my unborn baby would have her own tiny orange chakra too (although unattached at that stage). It helped me to feel really connected to her in that moment - thinking that as I nurtured and balanced my energy - hers too would be affected.
"The journey through the chakras is the journey that each individual takes to discover this knowledge of themselves and find true balance and wholeness. Our babies share our energy until their own chakras attach, which is wonderful because it means we have the potential to help both ourselves and our little ones. Babies' experiences start well before birth and what they feel in the womb matters.

After birth our little ones continue to share our energy, and it will only be at the point where they can see themselves as a separate being, that they will begin to develop their own independent chakras and energy field. And even after that I can help my children through co-regulation - helped by breastfeeding, skin-to-skin and wearing in a carrier beyond newborn stage. We can welcome them back in to our energy field as we were once one.
